Where business meets opportunity
Established by the Australian and Indian Prime Ministers, the Australia-India CEO Forum brings together the most senior business leaders from both countries to strengthen trade and investment ties.
The CEO Forum provides advice to heads of government on desirable policy changes to strengthen economic prosperity for both India and Australia.
The meeting of the CEO Forum coincides with meetings of the Indian and Australian Prime Ministers and Trade Ministers. Throughout the year the CEO Forum convenes and takes part in a wide range of events focused on strengthening Australia-India relations.
The CEO Forum has been active since 2012 and was relaunched in 2023 by Prime Minister the Hon Anthony Albanese MP and Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. At the 2023 meeting the Business Council of Australia was confirmed as the Australian secretariat for the CEO Forum and works closely with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Austrade in delivering the CEO Forum’s workplan.
