Australia’s largest two-way trading partner
One in four Australian jobs is dependent upon trade — trade with China accounts for more than a quarter of Australian trade with the world.
The CEO Roundtable was established to promote dialogue between business leaders as the basis for deepening economic cooperation, strengthening commercial ties and broadening communication between business and the Chinese and Australian Governments.
The inaugural CEO Roundtable was held in 2010, with the Business Council of Australia hosting the eighth CEO Roundtable in Beijing in July 2025 in conjunction with China Development Bank.
Bran Black, Chief Executive, Business Council of Australia (Australia) and Zhao Huan, Chairman and Executive Director, China Development Bank (China) co-chaired the 2025 roundtable.
