Geoff Culbert

President, Business Council of Australia

Geoff assumed the role of President of the Business Council of Australia in February 2024. Geoff is Chair of the NSW Fundraising Committee for the Australian Olympic Committee.


Before joining the BCA Board as President, Geoff served as Chief Executive Officer at Sydney Airport for six years. Prior to this, Geoff worked at General Electric for 15 years in a number of senior roles across GE's portfolio of businesses in Asia and Australia. Most recently he was the President and Chief Executive of GE Australia and New Zealand.


Geoff is passionate about building greater national prosperity for all Australians, and is focused on how the business community can contribute to that goal.


Geoff graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1992 with a Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Law (Hon).
