Cadetship to career
The Cadetship to career program is a joint initiative of The Smith Family and the Business Council of Australia.
Each year the program offers cadetships to young people who are part of The Smith Family's Learning for Life Program and undertaking tertiary studies (university or vocational education and training).
“We owe it to the next generation of Australians to make sure they get every opportunity, or else we’ll be poorer as a society."
A cadetship runs for the duration of a cadet’s qualification. It includes 8 weeks per year of paid employment with a Business Council member company, additional financial support and training in key workplace skills.
