Response to the Working towards a National Clean Air Agreement Discussion Paper
23 April 2015
The Business Council supports a nationally coordinated approach to ensuring air quality.
The proposed National Clean Air Agreement provides a possible framework for governments and businesses to continually collaborate to ensure good air quality, and address emerging air quality concerns.
This submission supports the introduction of the agreement, subject to future measures in the agreement being based on rigorous regulatory procedures, informed by broad consultation, and designed to minimise costs to the community.
