Submissions on the National Consumer Credit Protection Bill 2009
24 July 2009
The BCA has made submissions to Treasury over the exposure draft of the National Consumer Credit Protection Bill 2009, and to the Senate Economic Legislation Committee’s inquiry into the Bill.
The BCA is generally supportive of a national system for consumer credit – but the additional costs and regulatory burdens of the new laws are of concern.
