The Business Council supports the desire to improve Sydney’s toll network. How this is achieved however will be critical.

The BCA is deeply concerned however about the proposal to use legislation to “override existing concession agreements with private toll road operators in so far as those relate to the toll prices”.

Concerns about tolling arrangements and any changes proposed should be negotiated in good faith with the Government’s counterparties to the contract.
