The Business Council of Australia (BCA) welcomes the opportunity to provide the Government with comments on options to enhance Australia’s foreign investment framework.

Within the last year, the BCA has undertaken extensive consultation with a broad range of member companies and there continues to be a high level of concern about the operation of the foreign investment screening process. This submission outlines seven practical recommendations to enhance the efficiency and reduce the complexity of Australia’s foreign investment framework.
