The Business Council has made a submission to the Federal Government’s Ministerial Forum on Vehicle Emissions, offering in-principle support for further consideration of a range of measures that could reduce passenger vehicle emissions including a mandatory vehicle fuel efficiency standard for new passenger vehicles. The Business Council does not support any changes to sulphur levels in Australia’s fuel quality standards at this time.
