One Country, Many Voices: Update on the Indigenous Engagement Activities of the BCA and Its Members
27 November 2012
In this address to the Reconciliation Australia Government and Business Luncheon, BCA President Tony Shepherd discusses the work members of the Business Council of the Australia are doing to include Indigenous Australians as part of the nation’s economic growth story.
He discusses the opportunity for optimising the way that the public, private and community sector can work together to provide Indigenous Australians with economic opportunities.
During the address, themed ‘One Country, Many Voices’, Tony Shepherd discussed the fact that the BCA had commissioned a study, Improving Indigenous Economic and Employment Outcomes: Lessons from Business Experience, to identify the key ingredients of success in business–Indigenous engagement, and to draw out the broader policy lessons.
