Megan Kirchner joined the Business Council of Australia in September 2014.
She previously held a range of roles in the New South Wales and Victorian public sectors, with her most recent role being the Executive Director of the Health and Justice in the NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet.
Megan is a thought leader in public policy and has led the development of several major policies including the Victorian Skills Reform Package, the Victorian Homelessness Action Plan and the NSW Bail reforms.
She also has extensive experience in negotiating intergovernmental relations and has a keen interest in public sector reform.
Megan has also managed significant operations in both the higher education and vocational education and training sectors, and has worked as a consultant for PhillipsKPA.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts (History) from the University of Sydney and an Executive Master of Public Administration from the Australian and New Zealand School of Government at the University of Melbourne.
