Lifting the Quality of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education

This Business Council of Australia paper identifies four priorities to ensure Australia’s higher education sector is making the strongest contribution to lifting national productivity. The priorities are:

  • rewarding effective teaching and learning outcomes
  • working with institutions to continue to improve the value and the relevance of what is taught
  • developing a comprehensive strategy for international education
  • developing a demand-driven system responsive to business, students and the community.
