Commonwealth Business Forum 2011
27 June 2011
The Commonwealth Business Forum 2011 is being held in Perth from 25 to 27 October.
The forum is being co-organised by the Commonwealth Business Council and the Australian and Western Australian Governments, and it will coincide with the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting taking place in Perth at the same time.
The forum will focus on the theme ‘Partnering for Global Growth: The Commonwealth, Indian Ocean and the Pacific Rim’.
The Commonwealth Business Forum will be the largest international meeting held in Australia between business and government leaders. More than 100 speakers, including the Australian Prime Minister and two Nobel laureates will address the forum.
The forum will provide an opportunity for participants to engage with business and government leaders from among the member nations of the Commonwealth, and to discuss trade, investment and broader issues.
This unique gathering of business leaders from developed and emerging markets will focus on building the new economic and financial architecture in the global economy and ensure that it is inclusive and beneficial to all.
