B20 Australia Leadership Group

The Business Council of Australia is a member of the B20 Australia Leadership Group. On 1 December 2013, Australia assumed presidency of the Group of Twenty (G20) and its business advisory forum, the Business Twenty (B20). The B20 leads engagement with G20 governments on behalf of the international business community and brings together business leaders from across G20 member countries to reflect the key role of the private sector as the main driver of strong, sustainable and balanced growth.

In 2014, the B20 will focus on developing a set of clear, actionable recommendations which support the G20 agenda of promoting growth, creating jobs and building resilience in the global economy with a particular focus on four policy areas: financing growth; human capital; infrastructure and investment; and trade.

The B20 is committed to running an open and transparent process in 2014 and is inviting business leaders, business associations and individual businesses across all G20 countries to participate.

Please register your interest in participating in the B20 process here. You can also follow the B20 on twitter @B20Australia and join the conversation #B20au.
