The Doha Round of Trade Negotiations

Chairman of the BCA Trade and International Relations Task Force, John Denton, has called on the federal government to consider putting contingency plans into place in case the upcoming World Trade Organisation Doha round talks are a failure:

‘The BCA suggests that the Australian Government consider engaging in discussions with business on an alternative strategy for Australia’s trade policy in the event that the Doha Round is not concluded by the end of this year’.
