Business Council of Australia spokesman Scott Thompson said his organisation was always open to discussion. But he said the BCA still strongly opposed any tinkering with individual contracts. “This might clarify Labor’s position on AWAs but it would also continue to allow for the destruction of AWAs,” he said.
