The Importance of Australian Workplace Agreements
The Business Council’s Michael Chaney says: “The feedback from our members is they want flexibility in workplace agreement-making, and AWAs are one of the options available to them that provides that flexibility under the present system. We are concerned that they (Labor) may seek to make collective bargaining the only practical option for business whether it suited the circumstances of that business or not.”
