The BCA says that while it is encouraging to see reform activism by the states, “real reform” must involve the Commonwealth. “If governments cannot work these matters out co-operatively, we would support the Commonwealth stepping in to show leadership to help establish a common market for business in Australia,” BCA chief executive Katie Lahey says.
